Abia Governor attends TREM’s MBI, calls for sustained prayers

The Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti, has called on the Church to sustain its partnership and prayers for his present administration to enable him excel in his Government’s efforts to effect a new dawn of progressive change in the State.

Dr Otti who made the call at The Redeemed Evangelical Mission, TREM Southeast Zone II Headquarters No. 2 Uwalaka street/ Ossah road, Umuahia during A Miracle Beyond Imagination, MBI yearly programme, expressed optimism that with the fervent prayers of the Church, his government will be able to surmount all the challenges of bad governance he met on inception.

The Governor represented by his Senior Special Assistant to Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Magdalene Ugoanusi, noted with delight that within the over 14 months of mounting the saddle of leadership, lots of positive change and good things have started happening in the State.

Furthermore, he urged Abians to exercise patience and have faith in the government’s resolve to put things right.

Preaching earlier on a topic, “Higher ground is a must for me. I’m won’t settle for less”, during the programme which has, “Victory at Last”,as its theme, the zonal pastor SouthEast Zone II, Rev Prof. Ugochukwu Adeyemi Orgaly, who referenced the Bible book of Philippines 3:12-14 described Darkness; Evil lines that are drawn; Voice of judgement; Evil planters: among others as enemies that many people are not careful about, which has confined them also.

The programme attracted the presence of many pastor’s from the zone.
