The wife of Abia State Governor, Mrs. Priscilla Otti has joined the Deputy Mayor of Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State, Lady Vivian Obilor in thanksgiving service and celebration of her election as the deputy mayor of Isiala Ngwa South LGA.
The thanksgiving service was conducted today at the Winners Chapel Church, Umuchichi in Osisioma Ngwa LGA and saw the likes of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, Senator Darlington Nwokocha, Mayors of various LGA’s of Abia State in attendance.
Mrs. Otti, in her speech, described Lady Vivian Obilor as hardworking and a great mobilizer of women for inclusion into politics.
Minister in charge of the Church, Pastor David Nduka in his sermon, said that nothing is received except it is giving by God.
He commended Lady Vivian Obilor for her dedication to service and prayed for God continuous blessings upon the family.
Earlier, Lady Vivian Obilor said that she came to return all the glory to God who among all things has been of immense strength and blessings to her and her family.
She applauded Governor Otti’s commitment towards developing Abia and for giving women equal opportunity in his administration.
In a related development, Mrs. Otti also attended the consecration anniversary and second term presentation of His Grace, Archbishop of Aba Province, Reverend Isaac Chijioke Nwaobiala and his wife, at the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Diocese of Isiala Ngwa South LGA.
