Abia deputy gov commends Police for their gallantry

Deputy Governor of Abia State, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has commended the Nigerian Police Force for their gallant act of protection of life and property of the citizenry.

Sir Oko Chukwu who made the remark after decorating one of the Police officers attached to his office, former Inspector Emmanuel Ezeocha now promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) said that Nigeria police deserved commendation for the able manner they have carried out their primary civic responsibilities.

He expressed delight on the promotion of ASP Ezeocha and described the event as great and wonderful act of God which have been taking him to higher ground in the force.

Sir Oko Chukwu congratulated ASP Ezeocha for his diligent and great sense of duties and to be spur to great discharge of duties by the promotion and expressed confidence that other officers particularly in the junior rank would benefit from future promotion and urged the new officer to continue to carry personnel under him along in the discharge of their duties.

Also speaking, the Commissioner for Boundary Matters and Conflict Resolution, Chief Obike Imo Mascot commended the high level of discipline among Police officers and other security agencies in the deputy governor’s convoy and urged them to maintain it as it comes with reward as ASP Ezeocha has been rewarded.

Chief Mascot while congratulating the newly decorated officer urged him to maintain the hallmark of professionalism he was noted for which earned him the promotion.

Responding, ASP Ezeocha thanked the deputy governor for the honour done him and assured that he and his colleagues in the deputy governor’s convoy would continue to exhibit high sense of professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
