Abia Deputy Gov Visits International Spare Parts, Mechanic Cluster, Assures Completion

The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engineer, Ikechukwu Emetu says the International Spare Parts and Mechanic Cluster located at Ovom in Obingwa LGA when put in good shape will boost the aesthetic and economic value of commercial nerve town of Aba.

Engr. Emetu who stated this shortly after he was taken round the cluster by the Regional Director of Total Value Nigeria Ltd, the Firm handling the project, Chief Emetu pointed out that it’s completion will succeed in decongesting traffic and the menace of scattered mechanics in every nook and cranny of Aba.

The Deputy Governor who decried that the previous dispensation that awarded the project could not effectively see to its completion due to their lukewarm attitude, assured that the present administration will work out modalities to salvage the cluster and ensure that the heavy flow of water is channeled to waterways to check the inaccessibility problem caused by poor channeling of flood and drainage network.

He described the investment as one that should be encouraged by any serious minded Government in all ramifications as according to him, the Dr Alex Otti’s Government has no other business than to make life for those living in Aba and other part of the state very comfortable as well as provide a very friendly environment for their business to thrive.

Speaking while conducting the Deputy Governor round the International Spare Parts and Mechanic Cluster, the Regional Director of the Firm handling the project, Total Value Nigeria Ltd, Chief Godfrey lrogbarauwa said the Cluster was conceptualized because of the observation of scattered mechanics all over Aba metropolis and the need for decongestion and expressed optimism that when fully realized, it will create job opportunities for the people.
