The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, has said that the administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has endeavoured to provide an enabling environment which aided and still aids private entrepreneurs to succeed in Abia.
To this end, he lauded Dr Nnamdi Ibekwe and the leadership of Oziomachi foundation for establishing a Palm Oil processing Mill which helps to process palm produce and in turn enhance their productivity.
Sir Oko Chukwu made these remarks while commissioning a mini Palm Oil processing Mill powered by the President of the Oziomachi Foundation, Dr Nnamdi Ibekwe held at Amaba Ugwueke in Bende LGA of Abia state.
He commended the leadership of Oziomachi Foundation and other private entrepreneurs for partnering Government in boosting agricultural development and production in the State.
Sir Oko Chukwu lauded the Foundation by partnering Abia state Government and complementing Government’s efforts at boosting areas it has comparative advantage in Agriculture.
The Deputy Governor further stated that since the inception of the present administration, Government has endeavoured to provide an enabling environment that has aided private entrepreneurs to cue in and lauded Dr Nnamdi Ibekwe for not only instituting the Green House Revolution in the year 2020 to train youths in modern technology in farming, but also establishing the Palm Oil processing Mill to enable them process their Palm produce to add impetus and enhance their productivity.
