Abia APC planned mega rally ,now December

The All Progressives Congress in Abia state has announced the postponement of its planned mega rally scheduled to hold on Saturday November 11th 2017 in Umuahia.

The publicity secretary of APC in the state and a member of the organizing committee of the mega rally, Comrade Benedict Godson said the postponement was due to the forthcoming Nov 18th Anambra governorship election.

He disclosed that the mega rally has been shifted to December, saying all arrangements and logistics have been put on ground to ensure smooth and successful rally.

According to him, the postponement was to first, ensure victory of APC in the Anambra election, saying all focus is on the poll.

Godson said that the party is fully prepared for the rally and would be graced by President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice president, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo and the APC National chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun.

His words:”The mega rally has been shifted to December. We will announce a new date soon. All logistics for the rally have been put in place. You know Anambra election is coming up next Saturday. And the focus of the presidency and APC stakeholders in the country for now is on how to win the election”.

“Because we want to achieve a successful rally where all including President Buhari, vice president, Professor Yemi Osibanjo and the national chairman of our great party would be in attendance”.

” The rally is going to be the first of its kind in the history of Abia state. The rally is for all Abians. We are not the type that rent crowds for an event. We are not PDP. This is a rally for all Abians”.
