ABIA 2023 :I Will Put Development On A Faster Lane If Elected- Ikonne Promises As He Meets Delegates, PDP Isiala Ngwa North

A leading governorship hopeful and immediate past Vice Chancellor of Abia State University Uturu, Prof Uche Ikonne has promised to change the Abia story If elected in 2023, explaining that his records of achievements within the period he served both as the rector, Abia State polytechnic Aba, and the Vice Chancellor of Abia State University ,Uturu are all there to speak for him.

Ikonne promised to bring his wealth of experience to bear.

He thanked the Governor of the state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu for laying a solid foundation for his successor to thrive, and described Abia as a work in progress.

The PDP governorship hopeful solicited the support of everyone to enable him actualize his ambition, as according to him, Abians will rejoice at last, assuring that his administration would come up with policies and Programmes that would enable the party hierarchy to checkmate the govt in power.

In their separate remarks on behalf of the delegates and party excos in Isiala Ngwa North at the event, the Hon. Commissioner for Local government and chieftaincy affairs, Rt. Hon C O Enwerenmadu, the LGA Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in isiala Ngwa North, Elder Sam Esindu, the Executive chairman of isiala Ngwa North, Elder Chinwendu Ochulor, and LGA woman leader of the party, lady Ikonne all pledged their support towards the actualization of the project, assuring him that the entire votes of the delegates in the primary election in the council will be hundred percent for him.
