ABHA 2023: Jubiliation As Lewis Visits Akirika-Uku, Obeaku, Others, Unveils Plans

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Ukwa-East State Constituency, Hon. Lewis Obianyi has pledged effective and quality representation of his people when elected into office come 2023 general elections.

Hon. Obianyi who stated this during his visit to Akirika-Uku and Obeaku communities in Ukwa-East Local Government Area (LGA) recently, disclosed that he would consistently hold bi-annual townhall meetings to keep people abreast of the happenings in his constituency, give grants to minimum 20 University students yearly as well as train and equip at least 30 artisans within his four years in office among others.

The young politician maintained that he is prepared for the job, having served as a Councillor, Transitional Committee (TC) Chairman and Executive Chairman of Ukwa-East LGA at different times with tangible proofs to match.

Obianyi also commended the traditional ruler of Igubeachara autonomous community, HRM, Eze Samuel Ikechi Nwosu, adding that his legendary strides in Human Capital Development in Ndoki, Abia and Nigeria at large is worthy of emulation.

Contributing, the PDP Chairman, Ukwa-East LGA Chapter, Sir Okechi Nwohu has called on aggrieved members of PDP to return back to the party, insisting that PDP is the only party on ground in Ukwa-East LGA and Abia state with renewed resolve to better the lives of the people.

Nwohu called on the people of Ukwa-East to vote Lewis Obianyi and other candidates of the party come 2023 general polls.

In their separate remarks, the former Deputy TC Chairman, Ukwa-East LGA., Hon. Chizobe Onwukwe, Director-General, Lewis Obianyi Campaign Team, Hon. Chiwuike Ekeke, Mr. Godson Nwulu, Mr. Pius Nwagbara described Hon. Obianyi as the most qualified among other candidates, calling on the people to vote him (Obianyi) for Abia state House of Assembly.

In their vote of thanks, the Youth chairman, Akirika-Uku community, Mr. Egejuru Egejuru and the chairperson, Oganihu Women Akirika-Uku, Mrs. Uchechi Imo, thanked the team for coming, adding that they would mobilize their people to vote for competent candidates come 2023 general polls.
