More than 200 residents of Abia South Senatorial District have benefited from a four-day entrepreneurship training program facilitated by Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe.
The workshop, held at Nobik International Event Centre, Aba, was organized by the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre in partnership with ARIF Global Resources Limited as part of the senator’s 2024 constituency capital project.
Delivering a session on “Sales and Marketing,” Dr. Emmanuel Ochalifu, a data analyst and value chain expert with ARIF Global Resources Limited, described sales as the exchange of goods and services for value, while marketing involves identifying and satisfying customer needs profitably. He stressed the synergy between the two and highlighted referrals as a proven method for increasing profits.

Speaking on Entrepreneurship Risks and Resilience, Mr. Monday Kurah, Head of Procurement at the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre under the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, encouraged participants to be innovative, take calculated risks, and pursue opportunities that drive business growth.
On “Banking and Finance,” Mr. Abiodun Oyebanjo, another ARIF Global resource expert, underscored the role of financial institutions in funding, cash flow management, and investments.
