The Councillor representing Umuola ward 8, in Aba North Local Government Area of Abia State, Miss. Chinonso Nwachukwu, has commenced a grassroot and mobilisation meeting in her ward to get ready for the upcoming 2023 elections.
Nwachukwu revealed that as a Council member the onus lies on her to educate her people on government interventions and at the same time channel their interest to the state government to look into their affairs.
According to Nwachukwu, the reason for the stakeholders meeting is to review my work with them and to intimate them on the things I have achieved so far.
However, we are gearing up for the 2023 elections so the stakeholders meeting is a necessity for us to put our heads together and forge ahead with common goal.
Nwachukwu maintains that their vote is their negotiating power for good governance and encouraged her ward to keep faith with the peoples democratic party led government in Abia State.
