Amuzukwu Community gets new civil centre

An ultra modern civil centre built by the former T.C Umuahia North LGA, Deacon Iyke Nwoke for the people of Amuzukwu community in umuahia North has been commissioned by the Abia state governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu.

 

Speaking during the event, Dr. Ikpeazu said that his administration was committed towards satisfying the yearnings of the people in appreciation of the mandate and support being given to him. He assured the people of Amuzukwu in particular and Abians in general that his government would continue to extend democracy dividends for them to have a feel of good governance.

Represented by his deputy, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu the governor expressed the confidence that the centre would bring the people of Amuzukwu closer, promote harmony and peaceful co- existence and stated that the ripple affect of the centre would be felt within and outside the state.

 

Ikpeazu commended the donor for all he has been doing for the community and the state and thanked the people of Amuzukwu on their support for the government.

 

Also speaking, the majority leader, Abia House of Assembly and member representing Umuahia Central state constituency, Hon Chinedum Orji said that the project was in line with his direct touch programme aimed that given the people of his constituent a felt of democracy dividends and described the gesture as a meritorious achievements worth commendable.

In his word of appreciation, the former council boss, Deacon Nwoke commended Engr Orji for all he has done for the community to feel the sense of governance and that such would be instrumental for the success of the governor and the PDP in the state come 2019 general elections.

 

Deacon Nwoke assured that his Amuzukwu people would vote massively for governor Ikpeazu and other PDP candidates in the 2019 general elections.
