Cristiano Ronaldo has finally found the net for his new club Juventus as his brace helped the Old Ladies beat Sassuolo 2-1 on week four of the Italian Serie A.
The Portuguese international, who spent nine seasons with Real Madrid and helped them win three successive UEFA Champion League titles, moved to Juventus at the end of last season in a record 100 million Euros deal.
After his first three matches without a goal, there were fears in some quarters whether he was going to be a flop. But this brace has doused such fears and will spur him to get more goals this mid-week as the group stages of the UEFA Champions League begins.
After the match Ronaldo said, “I was a little bit anxious as expectations were high. I really wanted to score so I’m happy.’
