Breaking: Siege at the N’Assembly: Saraki vows to protect democracy

Senate President Bukola Saraki addresses the press on the blockade of the entrance of the National Assembly on Tuesday by DSS operatives and vows to ensure that democracy thrives as well as ensure justice and fairness.

He said that the siege on the National Assembly was an act of cowardice by those who orchestrated the attack out of desperation to remove him.

He said the incidence prevented the leadership of NASS from meeting with the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and promised that the meeting would still hold.
