‘Buhari’s cabinet needs fresh blood’

A Suleja based lawyer, Mr Umar Musa, on Tuesday advised President Muhammadu Buhari to reshuffle his cabinet and inject fresh blood to ensure efficiency and qualitative service delivery to Nigerians.

Musa told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Suleja that bringing people with fresh ideas into the federal executive council would serve as catalyst for development of the country.

“The desired development Nigerians have been clamouring for will only be reality if new hands are brought in to assist Mr President in providing good democratic governance.’’

He explained that there are several Nigerians who share in the vision and mission of the present administration and were ready to contribute positively towards the successful implementation of its programmes.

“President Buhari should consider loyal and patriotic party members, who are willing to contribute positively towards meeting the expectations of Nigerians in providing dividends of democracy.”

According to Musa, the federal executive council as presently constituted needs to be reorganised in other to meet the expectations of Nigerians.

He called on Nigerians to be patient and support the present administration’s efforts, especially its resolve to fight corruption.

The lawyer described corruption as the major factor responsible for the nations’ setback.
