Former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan and critic of Buhari administration, Reno Omokri, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to make the plight of Nigerians a priority and visit Benue victims the way he visited his son Yusuf.
Omokri quried Buhari and the All Progressive Congress government on Tuesday for not visiting victims of Benue massacre.
He said this was contrary to Buhari’s hurried visited to his son, Yusuf who was recently involved in a bike accident.
He wrote in his tweets “Dear President Buhari, you visited your son Yusuf when he had a bike accident because you are his father.
“As father of the nation, don’t you think you should also visit the victims of herdsmen killings in Benue? Show that you care for Nigerians the way you care for your son.”
