Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has vowed that the 70.75km Omadino–Okerenkoko–Escravos Road, which links Warri to key oil-producing coastal communities, will be constructed to the highest standards, with no room for substandard work.

Speaking in Asaba while receiving members of the Senate and House of Representatives Committees on NDDC at the Government House, Oborevwori said his administration, the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), and Chevron Nigeria Limited are united in their commitment to quality execution and fast-tracked delivery of the project.

According to him, the road and bridge project in Warri North Local Government Area is designed to unlock economic activities, improve security, and drive infrastructure development across the region by linking Warri to riverine communities.

“We are working with NDDC to fast-track this project. My administration remains committed to accountability, transparency, and cost-effective service delivery in all infrastructure projects across Delta State,” Oborevwori said.
