Uyo Stakeholders Align for Tinubu, Akpabio, Eno’s Re-election

Leaders, women, and other stakeholders of Uyo Senatorial District have expressed their resolve to align all political, organisational, and campaign strategies within the district to ensure the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and Governor Umo Eno.

They noted that such alignment would enhance synergy, coherence, and maximum impact.

The stakeholders made their position known in a statement endorsed by Distinguished Senator Effiong Bob (Political Leader of Uyo Senatorial District), Obong Umana Okon Umana (former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Etinan Federal Constituency), Senator Ita Enang (Ambassador-designate to South Africa, Itu Federal Constituency), and Prince Enobong Uwah (Secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Government, Uyo Federal Constituency). The statement was made available to newsmen in Uyo on Friday.

They also pledged their commitment to mobilising massively across all wards, chapters, and local government areas within Uyo Senatorial District to ensure an overwhelming electoral victory for the President and the Governor in the 2027 general elections. They further promised to work with their kith and kin residing in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District to join hands with others in securing the re-election of Senator Godswill Akpabio.

Other areas highlighted include women empowerment and social inclusion policies, educational advancement and institutional strengthening, and compassionate care for the elderly, vulnerable, and marginalised populations.

They added:
“We also firmly endorse His Excellency, Senator Godswill Akpabio, GCON, for a second term in office as President of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
