NUJ FCT Hosts 2026 Easter Cantata, Music Concert in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) hosted its 2026 Easter Cantata and Music Concert in Abuja, bringing together journalists and media stakeholders for an evening of music, fellowship, and reflection.

The event featured vibrant musical performances from several NUJ chapels and affiliated media organisations, highlighting the creativity and unity within the journalism community.

 

 

 

Participating groups included the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Chapel, the FCT Correspondents’ Chapel, the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Chapel, Independent Television (ITV), the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Abuja, as well as representatives from the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) and the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA).

A notable moment during the event captured the Chairman of NUJ FCT Council, Grace Ike, elegantly dressed in white and seated in the front row alongside other distinguished guests, symbolising leadership presence and solidarity at the gathering.

The Easter Cantata and Music Concert provided a platform for artistic expression while also strengthening professional relationships among journalists and media practitioners in the FCT.
