The Founder of CAADES Group and Abia-born philanthropist, Dr. Chima Anyaso, has urged Nigerians to take full advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise by registering ahead of future elections.
Speaking recently, Dr. Anyaso described voter registration as a fundamental civic responsibility and a vital pillar of Nigeria’s democratic process.
He called on residents particularly youths and first-time voters not to miss the opportunity to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
According to him, meaningful change and good governance can only be achieved when citizens actively participate in the electoral process.
He noted that registering to vote empowers individuals to make their voices heard and influence decisions that shape the future of their communities and the nation.
Dr. Anyaso also appealed to community leaders, civil society organisations, and other stakeholders to intensify public sensitisation efforts on the importance of voter registration. Greater participation, he said, would strengthen accountability, transparency, and the credibility of elections.
Reaffirming his commitment to promoting civic engagement, youth inclusion, and sustainable development in Abia State and beyond, Dr. Anyaso encouraged all eligible voters to visit designated registration centres before the close of the exercise.
