GCK 2026: The Lord Shall Fulfil Our Expectations, Kumuyi Assures

Founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William F. Kumuyi, has assured believers of divine fulfilment as preparations intensify for the 2026 Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK).

Speaking during a press briefing ahead of the crusade in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, themed “Fresh Anointing for a New Beginning,” Pastor Kumuyi urged Nigerians not to be discouraged by life’s challenges, stressing that God remains able and willing to manifest His power in the lives of those who trust Him.

According to him, “We have assurances from the Lord that all He has done before, He is still able and willing to do again, even in this crusade. The real manifestation of the new and fresh anointing that breaks every yoke will come to us. The Lord has not disappointed us; none will be disappointed, and our expectations will be fulfilled.”

The General Superintendent further encouraged individuals and families to maximize the spiritual authority described as divine keys given by Jesus Christ to confront and overcome challenges in their lives. He added that if families exercise such power, the moral decadence ravaging society would be significantly reduced.

“The thing we often overlook is that God has given us, through Jesus Christ, the key the power. He said, ‘I give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatsoever you bind on earth is bound in heaven.’ He puts the key in our hands. Bind it on earth, and heaven will conform. Jesus also said, ‘He who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also,’” he explained.

Pastor Kumuyi lamented that despite clear scriptural assurances, some church leaders are held back by doubt. He maintained that Nigeria can become a better nation if believers act on God’s word.

“We can change the situation in this country if we believe. We are talking about anointing anointing breaks the yoke. It is not in the hands of the young people or those promoting decadence; it is in our hands to pray and decree. We will see God manifest,” he said.

On the forthcoming crusade in Uyo, Pastor Kumuyi disclosed that the programme has been designed as an interdenominational and multi-denominational gathering. He noted that leaders from various Christian bodies, including the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), are expected to attend.
