MOUAU Postpones 13th Convocation Ceremony

The Senate of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) has announced the postponement of its 13th Convocation Ceremony, earlier scheduled to hold from December 10 to 13, 2025.

In an official statement signed by the Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of Senate, Prof. Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe, the University said the event has been placed on hold until further notice.

The Senate expressed regrets over the inconvenience the postponement may cause graduands and extended apologies to the Chancellor and Chairman of Convocation, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar IV, the Emir of Gombe. The University also apologized to the Convocation Lecturer and Director-General of the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan, Dr. Simeon Ehui, for disruptions caused by the development.

According to the statement, a new date for the 13th Convocation Ceremony will be communicated in due course.
