The Head, Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau, Dr. Oluebube Chukwu, has commiserated with the family of Late Pa Chukwuemeka Madu, describing the departed patriarch as a principled, forthright, and God-fearing man whose influence extended across his community and beyond.
Speaking during the funeral held yesterday, at Ozuorji, Amuda Isuochi, Umunneochi Local Government Area (LGA) Abia state, Dr. Chukwu noted that Pa Madu lived a life rooted in integrity, discipline, and unwavering moral standards. He urged the children and extended family to honour their father’s memory by sustaining the values he exemplified.

“Late Pa Madu was a man of truth and character. His commitment to family, community, and the things of God is worthy of emulation. I encourage his children to uphold and reflect the moral standards he taught and lived by,” Dr. Chukwu stated.
The funeral service, conducted at Grace Methodist Church, Amuda Isuochi, attracted relatives, friends, community leaders, and well-wishers who gathered to pay their final respects.

Delivering the sermon, the officiating minister, Rev. Chris Ekeoma Udeagha, extolled the virtues of the deceased, describing him as a devoted Christian, a peaceful family man, and a model of humility and service. He urged Christians to emulate Pa Madu’s exemplary lifestyle.
“Pa Madu lived a life pleasing to God. He showed love, patience, and kindness in all his dealings. If every Christian lived like he did, our society would be a better place,” Rev. Udeagha said.

He further encouraged the congregation to reflect on the brevity of life and to live purposefully in accordance with God’s will.
The ceremony featured tributes, hymns, and prayers of thanksgiving for a life well spent, as the community offered words of comfort and solidarity to the Madu family during their moment of grief.
