The Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening basic education in Abia State as it fulfilled promises made to two schools in Amuda Isuochi, Umunneochi Local Government Area.

 

During the outreach today (November 14, 2025), the Founder, Dr. Oluebube Chukwu, said the initiative was inspired by his drive to uplift human capacity development in Umunneochi and contribute to the educational advancement of the state.

Represented by the Foundation’s Programme Manager, Helen Mannic, he explained that the intervention aligns with the education-focused reforms of the Governor Alex Otti-led administration. Dr. Chukwu encouraged the beneficiaries to make purposeful use of the donated items and continue supporting the transformative agenda of the present government.

 

At Trinity Methodist Church Divine Intellectual Nursery/Primary School, which has 70 pupils and staff, the Foundation presented a cash donation for graduation gowns, a flat-screen television, a playing swing, and 100 customized exercise books. The Head Teacher, Ima Nkechinyere Christiana, expressed heartfelt gratitude, describing the support as a significant boost for the school. A representative of the Proprietor, Mr. Michael Eze, also praised the Foundation for prioritizing the welfare of pupils, while a Learner, Udeka Ogechi, thanked OACF for improving their learning environment.

A similar atmosphere of excitement greeted the team at Grace Methodist Model Nursery/Primary School, where 193 pupils and staff warmly received the delegation. The school received 100 customized exercise books, a desktop computer set, and a playground swing. Basic Six pupil, Adinchi Success, appreciated the Foundation for remembering the school, saying the materials would enhance their learning experience. A teacher, Happiness Eke, described the gesture as timely, while the Headmistress, Ekeoma Adanna, and Proprietor, Very Rev. Christian Ekeoma Udeagha, thanked OACF for fulfilling its promise and investing in grassroots education. They prayed for continuous blessings on Dr. Chukwu and assured that the items would be put to optimal use.

 

Dr. Chukwu had earlier pledged support to the schools during his visits on July 26 and August 1, 2025, committing to provide essential learning aids and facilities—promises now fully delivered. Across the two institutions, the Foundation donated flat-screen televisions, playground swings, 200 customized exercise books, a computer system, and financial support for graduation gowns.
