Premier League: Arsenal Sink Burnley as Manchester United Drop Points

Arsenal extended their strong run of form with a 2–0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor. First-half goals from Viktor Gyökeres and Declan Rice sealed the victory for Mikel Arteta’s side, who move seven points clear of Bournemouth in the Premier League table.

At the City Ground, Manchester United were held to a 2–2 draw by Nottingham Forest, halting their push up the table. Casemiro gave United the lead in the first half, but Forest captain Morgan Gibbs-White levelled shortly after the break. Nicolo Savona put the hosts ahead before Amad Diallo struck a powerful 81st-minute equaliser to rescue a point for Ruben Amorim’s team. The result denied United the chance to move into second place.

Elsewhere, Brighton earned a convincing 3–0 home win over Leeds United at the Amex Stadium, while Crystal Palace continued their strong form with a 2–0 victory against Brentford. Fulham also enjoyed a comfortable evening at Craven Cottage, defeating Wolverhampton Wanderers 3–0.
