Abia State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has extended a warm birthday message to the former Governor of the State and Leader of the PDP in Abia, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, as he turns 61.
In a Press Release signed by the Publicity Secretary of the Party, Chief Eric Ikwuagwu, the party rejoiced with immeasurable joy as they celebrate their leader, who they described as a visionary leader, a man of peace, and a statesman of uncommon humility.
“We celebrate our leader, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, a man whose name is written in gold.
“Your life remains an open book of grace, courage, and selfless service. You led Abia with wisdom and compassion, building bridges of unity across divides and sowing seeds of development that continue to bear fruit. In you, we see the portrait of a true and exceptional leader. You embody patient in adversity, calm under provocation, and gracious in victory.
“Through the storms of politics, you have stood tall with dignity and faith, refusing to be drawn into bitterness or rancor. Like fine gold, you have been refined by challenges and now shine even brighter in the hearts of Abians and members of our great party”.
The Party remarked that the former Governor embodies the very soul of the party with his spirit of inclusiveness, resilience, and hope, adding that his steadfastness continues to inspire party members across the 17 local governments and beyond.
“On this special day, we pray that the Almighty God, who has sustained you thus far, will continue to crown your life with health, peace, divine favor, and the joy that comes from knowing you have served humanity with honor.
“PDP family in Abia stands tall in celebration of you today and always”, they added.
Similarly, the Chairman of the party in Abia, Elder Amah Abraham, on behalf of the entire leadership, stakeholders, and members of the party, saluted the erstwhile Governor, describing him as a leader of uncommon composure, and proud son of Abia.
