Build Career In Service To The Nation – Gov. Otu

Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State has advised youths in the State to build their careers in service to the nation, in order to uphold the proud heritage of discipline and valour.

The Governor gave the advice through a press release signed by his Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Linus Obodo following the ongoing recruitment exercises into the Nigerian Navy and Army.

The Governor encouraged the youths of the State who are eligible and qualified, to grab the opportunity and register in order to use the platform and contribute meaningfully to the national security and development.

According to the release, the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School Batch 38 recruitment exercise started since October 2nd, and will run till October 31st 2025 while the recruitment examination will hold on the 29th of November 2025 at all designated centres.

On the other hand, the Nigerian Army recruitment exercise kicked off on the 29th of September and will run till the 14th of November 2025, qualified candidates will be screened at Eburutu Barracks Calabar, which is the designated center for the State.

The release further stated that the registration for both Nigerian Navy and Nigerian Army are at no cost.
