SSG Urges Church to Pray for Leaders

The Secretary to the Abia State Government, Professor Kenneth Kalu, has called on the Church to continually pray for leaders at all levels for God’s grace and wisdom to guide them in managing the affairs of the state and the nation.

Professor Kalu made this appeal at the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Aba Synod, during the Investiture and Inauguration of Chief Jerry Kalu as the Chairman of the Aba Synod Brigade Patrons Forum.

The SSG used the opportunity to highlight some of the numerous transformative strides of the present administration, under the able leadership of Governor Alex Otti, OFR, especially the establishment of the Abia Leadership Academy, which has trained the first batch of 1,000 young Abians in leadership, ethics, and innovation. He emphasized the government’s focus on building a new Abia rooted in values, vision, and service.
