Abia at 34: Chukwu Hails Gov Otti’s Transformational Leadership, Felicitates With Abians

As Abia State marks its 34th anniversary today, August 27, 2025, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Due Process, Dr. Oluebube A. Chukwu, has extended warm felicitations to the government and people of the state, describing the milestone as both historic and inspiring.

In a goodwill message he personally signed and made available to newsmen today, Dr. Chukwu noted that the anniversary offers Abians the opportunity to reflect on their shared history, values, and collective aspirations for a greater tomorrow.

He lauded the resilience, courage, and enterprising spirit of Abians, which he said remain the true driving force behind the state’s progress.

“Abia State continues to grow in strength and prominence under the visionary, pragmatic, and people-oriented leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR. This anniversary does not only remind us of our founding but also of the remarkable transformation taking place under this administration, anchored on transparency, due process, accountability, and sustainable development,” he said.

Dr. Chukwu urged Abians to see the anniversary as a call to rededicate themselves to the vision of building a new Abia founded on equity, justice, innovation, enterprise, and inclusive growth.

According to him, the foundations being laid by the present administration would ensure that Abia remains a beacon of hope, excellence, and opportunity within Nigeria.

He further reaffirmed his personal commitment, alongside that of his family, to the collective dream of a prosperous Abia that lives up to its cherished name as God’s Own State.

“On behalf of my family and Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau office, I congratulate the government and good people of Abia State on this historic anniversary. May the years ahead bring greater prosperity, peace, and fulfillment of purpose as we collectively actualize the full potential of our dear state,” Dr. Chukwu added.
