Team Abia have qualified for several team sports ahead of the National Youth Games slated for Asaba, Delta State between August 26 and September 1, 2025.
In the zonal eliminations going on in Enugu, Team Abia defeated Enugu 19-7 and Imo 3-2 to come first and pick the South East ticket for male Rugby.
Similarly, after defeating Enugu 32-17 and Imo 22-17 Team Abia qualified for the male Handball event.
Team Abia is still vying to get the tickets in other sports.
