The Head of Service of Abia State, Mr. Benson Ojeikere, has lauded Governor Alex Otti for approving the implementation of the 2022/2023 promotion of civil servants in the state.
In a statement, Mr. Ojeikere described the gesture as a morale booster that will not only motivate the workforce but also enhance the capacity of the civil service to deliver quality governance in line with contemporary public expectations.
He urged the beneficiaries of the promotion to demonstrate unwavering commitment, professionalism, and a strong work ethic, stressing that the exercise offers them an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the governor’s vision for a reformed and efficient civil service.
Reaffirming the loyalty of civil and public servants to the Otti-led administration, the Head of Service called on workers to redouble their efforts in changing negative perceptions about the workforce and in restoring the dignity of the service.
