Be the Best You Can Be – Dr. Chukwu Urges Students

…Reaffirms Otti’s Commitment to Grassroots Education

The Head, Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau in Abia State, Dr. Oluebube Chukwu, has charged Nigerian students to remain committed and resilient in their academic pursuits, urging them to always strive for excellence.

Dr. Chukwu gave the charge while delivering a keynote speech at the graduation ceremony of Ihechukwu Madubuike Institute of Technology (IMIT), held in Amuda Isuochi, Umunneochi Local Government Area (LGA).

“Be the best you can be at all times. Have a vision that will propel you toward the destiny you desire,” he charged students.

He commended them for their determination and hard work in reaching a major milestone.

In a related development, Dr. Chukwu also visited Methodist Model Nursery and Primary School, Isuochi, applauded the learners for their dedication and hailed their teachers for their commitment to building a solid educational foundation.

He described grassroots education as critical to sustainable development, while reaffirming Governor Alex Otti’s commitment to advancing education at all levels across the state.

According to Dr. Chukwu, the Otti-led administration has prioritized inclusive and impactful policies, particularly in the education sector, through initiatives such as Abia Tech Rise, Abia Leadership Academy, and various youth-centered agricultural and entrepreneurial programs.

He encouraged students and parents to take full advantage of these government-led opportunities to enhance their intellectual and financial capacities.

Earlier in his address, the Rector of IMIT, Dr. Benjamin Ezeali, commended Dr. Chukwu for his inspiring presence and commitment to grassroots human capital development.

He described the appointment of Dr. Chukwu by Governor Otti as a wise decision, citing his integrity, leadership, and dedication to public service.

Similarly, the Headmistress of Methodist Model School, Mrs. Nneoma Adanma, also expressed gratitude to Dr. Chukwu for honouring the school’s invitation and for his consistent support for grassroots education.

They promised to use everything within their disposal to ensure qualitative education at the grassroot as well as support Gov. Alex Otti’s transformative agenda in Abia State.

The ceremonies featured cultural displays, debates, recitations, and other student presentations, drawing parents, educators, community leaders, and well-wishers.
