On the Wings of Viral Media, State Government Commissions Okwoyi’s first-ever community water facility.
The joy of the Okwoyi community in Umuahia North Local Government Area, Abia State, is boundless as the state government has commissioned a standardized water facility, thereby bringing to a close over a century of unrelenting deprivation of clean and potable water in the community.
The commissioning was a result of a special news report anchored by a TVC News Reporter, Mrs. Nnenna Gabriel, on the suffering the community has gone through due to a lack of access to clean and safe drinking water.
Mrs. Gabriel said that she was delighted that her passion for news that centered on improving human lives, which led her to do a report on the need to provide portable water for Okwoyi people, was first aired on their station, the TVC News in 2024. He ssured that more communities would benefit from the government transformational projects.
