The Secretary to Abia State Government, Barr Chris Ezem, has urged Christian faithful and Ndi-Abia to aspire to be in right standing with God, as they celebrate this Year’s Easter.
Barr Ezem noted that God sent his only begotten Son to lay down his life, so as to save humanity from Everlasting condemnation.
The SSG charged all and sundry to show greater interest in the fight against covid-19 by observing all covid-19 protocols and safety guidelines as rolled out by the National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Abia State Government, and health professionals to defeat the dreaded virus.
The SSG advised all Frontline workers and other targeted persons to take covid-19 vaccine, as it is safe and endorsed by World Health Organization.
Barr Ezem made the statement in his Easter goodwill message to the good people of Abia State.
The SSG called on everybody to display high level of professionalism in their sphere of influence, as it would go a long way to produce results for the state.
The SSG eulogised the state Governor, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, for embarking on massive road infrastructural development, stressing that motorists plying Abia territory to drive with caution in order to experience accident free Easter celebration.
