How I Recorded Massive Infrastructural Devt in Abia Poly Within Six Months-Rector!!

 

 

The Rector of Abia State Polytechnic,Aba,Dr Okorie Osonwa, has revealed how he was able to record massive infrastructural development since he came on board as the Rector of the school six months ago.

Dr Osonwa while fielding questions from journalists who came to find out the magic behind the massive infrastructures scattered across the school within the past six months,said that the magic behind the numerous projects in the school is because the Abia state Government,under the watch of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu,is committed to developing the educational system of the state,hence the full support given to the various school’s projects.

The Rector also revealed that his vision to lift the school from its messy state academically and infrastructurally, contributed to the diverse innovations and renovations currently ongoing in the school, adding that in another six months time, the school would be a talk of the world.

According to him, the Abia State Polytechnic is known in the colleges of polytechnics, because the school has distinguished itself in so many innovations with prizes to show for them, stating that their Electrical and Electronics Department have been able to produce a bulb that has 25 years durability.

Apart from the physical projects,the Rector stated that the school environment is now very clean and serene for students to learn.

While recounting his numerous achievements in the past six months,Dr Osonwa, thanked immersely the lecturers and entire staff of the school for their unreserved cooperation and support, which he said paved way for the success so far recorded.

He, however, commended the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), for the peaceful conduct of the just concluded Aba North and South Federal Constituency Bye Election,which Abia Polytechnic was used as a central collation centre, describing it as the most peaceful,free and fair elections so far held.
