The Executive Chairman, Ukwa West local government area, Chief Okey Kalu, has expressed his joy on emergence of Chief Chimaobi Ebisike as consensus candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Aba North/South Federal House of Representatives by election.
Speaking to a cross section of newsmen at the PDP Flag up campaign at Etche Road Aba , Chief Kalu expressed joy that an indigene of Aba and a grassroot politician is the PDP flag bearer for the election.
The Ukwa West boss revealed that governor Okezie Ikpeazu has made the party proud through his infrastructural development in all parts of the state.
He urged every voter to come out en masse to vote the PDP candidate for more dividends of democracy.
Also Speaking, The Chairman, Ariaria International Market, Chief Emeka Igara and his Ekeoha Shopping Centre counterpart, Hon. Ikechukwu Nwafor, said that the past record of Chief Chimaobi Ebisike at the local and state levels shows that he would compliment governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s developmental strides.
They assured Governor Ikpeazu that they will Mobilize their members to vote for the PDP flag bearer in appreciation to what the governor is doing for Aba people.
They advised Chief Ebisike to use his position as an indigene of Aba to draw the federal government’s attention towards establishing more industries in the commercial city.
