The Supreme Court of Nigeria is set to rule today, February 28, on four crucial cases tied to the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State. These cases, which have been at the center of a legal showdown between the Rivers State House of Assembly and the state government, are expected to have a significant impact on governance in the state.

SC/CV/1175/2024 – Rivers State House of Assembly & others vs. Rivers State Governor & nine others.

SC/CV/1176/2024 – Rivers State House of Assembly & others vs. Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) & nine others.
