EPL: Liverpool Beat Newcastle, Extend Lead

Liverpool defeated Newcastle United 2-0 in a rehearsal of their EFL cup final slated for March 16th.

Newcastle United came into the game with their eyes on Mohamed Salah and did all they could to keep him quiet throughout the night.

However, Liverpool managed to get all three points by scoring a goal in each half through Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.

Arne Slot watched from the stands as he serves the first of his two-game touchline ban for the red card he received from Michael Oliver in their match against Everton. He was also fined £70,000.
