Ikpeazu, Other Governors Wives Made Donations To Victims Of GBV

WIFE OF ABIA GOVERNOR MRS. NKECHI IKPEAZU WITH VICTIM OF GBV, MRS ANAELE VICTORIA 

The Wife of Abia State Governor, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu, has on behalf of Nigeria Governors wife made cash and wrapper donations to the victims of gender-based violence in the state.

Handing over the items and cash to Mrs. Patience Ogbonna, Mrs. Anaele Victoria, and Ms. Samuel Amarachi, in her Government House Office in Umuahia today, the Governor’s wife said she and her team at Vicar Hope Foundation have been following events in the state regarding the violation of Women and children and are making frantic efforts to end GBV in our society.

I also commend you for finding the courage to move out of abuse as we are working round the clock to provide safer place for you.

According to her, ” while we look forward to finding permanent solution to this, I will advise you take proper care of your children, train and build confidence in them.

Again, in collaboration with wives of Governors, we will continue to support you as you go through this challenge” she said.

Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Anaele Victoria, said on behalf of others, she sincerely appreciates the Governor’s wife for the gesture done to them.
