NOA Set To Reposition War Against Indiscpline

 

 

The Director of the National Orientation Agency,(NOA) Abia State, Dr. Ngozi Okechukwu has disclosed that the agency is set to reposition the War Against Indiscpline (WAI) in the State.
The Director disclosed this when she led her Management Team on a courtesy visit to the Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu at Government House, Umuahia.
She further revealed that the revamping of the War Against Indiscipline (WAI) Brigade aims at supporting the fight against indiscipline and corruption in Nigeria.
The NOA boss while noting that the ills which bedeviled the nation during the Buhari /Idiagbo Millitary era are even worsening, said that the repositioning the WAI Brigade will equally revamp vigilance in the various Local Government Areas of the state to boost security.
She commended the Governor for his adminstration efforts in empowering Abia youths, noting that youths’ inclusiveness in government is imperative.
Responding, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu
stressed the need for all to get back to the era of discipline and ensure all forms of indiscipline by the citizenry are brought to an end adding that his administration would do its best to support the National Orientation Agency in the State.

 

Governor  Ikpeazu called for adequate support for the National Orientation Agency (NOA) to form the fulcrum that would drive government policies and programs in Nigeria, and stressed the need for government at all levels to begin to mainstream the importance of national orientation in the people’s daily living.

Governor Ikpeazu was of the view that we need to galvanize the requisite support required to drive government policies, noting that despite various micro and macro policy  interventions by the government, the citizenry were not even aware and thus, unappreciative of such policies due to lack of national orientation.

 

He said that the greatest impact of the  National Orientation Agency would be to  help shape the direction of the nation. 

Governor Ikpeazu who was decoration as the Grand Patron of National Orientation Agency in the State, pledged to rise to the demands of the office bestowed on him and help confront the challenge of indiscipline in the State.
