Andoni LGA Chairman Launches ₦1 Million Monthly Empowerment Program

The Executive Chairman of Andoni Local Government Council, Hon. Lazarus Gogoteh Nteogwuile, has unveiled a transformative empowerment initiative designed to foster economic growth and uplift the local community.

During the Andoni Political Stakeholders Meeting, Hon. Nteogwuile announced that starting from January 2025, five individuals will be selected each month to receive ₦1 million. This initiative is part of the council’s broader efforts to enhance community welfare and promote economic development within the region.

He emphasized that the program will continue for 12 months, underscoring his administration’s strong commitment to improving the quality of life for the people of Andoni.

In December 2024, Hon. Nteogwuile had already launched another empowerment program aimed at benefiting 1,100 individuals across the eleven wards of the LGA. This initiative, which provides a monthly stipend of ₦50,000 for three months, is designed to address socio-economic challenges and stimulate local economic activity.
