Enyimba Mall: Wachuku lauds Gov Ikpeazu, Njoku, Says The Mall Would Boost Abia Economy

The erstwhile Pro-Chancellor of Abia State University Uturu, Abia State, Elder Chuku Wachuku has commended the Abia state governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, for conceptualizing of Enyimba Mall in Aba, Abia state.

Speaking with newsmen in Aba, the Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) capital of Nigeria, Elder Wachuku noted that the realization of Enyimba Mall through Public Private Partnership (PPP) will further boost the Abia economy.

He further commended the Developer of Enyimba Mall and the Chief Executive Officer of CheckBest Ltd, Mr. Chiedozie Njoku for showing capacity by delivering his own part of the bargain, adding that the microeconomic impact of the mall would be massive.

Elder Wachuku who called on foreign and indigenous Investors to emulate Mr. Njoku and invest in Abia, also urged the Abia governor to replicate the project in other economically viable locations in Abia.

Meanwhile, the MD/CEO of CheckBest Ltd and the Developer of Enyimba Mall, Mr. Chiedozie Njoku, has disclosed that his decision to invest in the project was to support Gov. Ikpeazu’s move to reignite the economic vibrancy of Aba, provide a modern shopping environment and drive the socioeconomic development of the state among others.

He revealed that the Mall which covers about 13,856 SQM was cited in Aba due to the secured environment and ease-of-doing business in the state, adding that Aba is a goldmine for business investments.

Njoku who maintained that the acceptability of the Mall is about 75 per cent, added that the 8000 spaced mall would be commissioned soon.

“Gov. Ikpeazu has made the realization of this project successful by creating an enabling environment for it. The relative peace in Abia as well as the provision of critical Infrastructural development in Aba, endeared me to the project – Enyimba Mall”, he further stated.

He thanked Gov. Ikpeazu for restoring investors confidence in the state while urging Abians to stop demarketing their state.

Contributing, the Managing Director (MD), AG Mortgage Home, Mr. Ngozi Anyaogu said that their organization invested in the Mall owing to the improved security situation and infrastructural development put in place by Gov. Ikpeazu as well as the character of the Developer, expressing hope that the Mall would serve Abians very well.

One of the off-takers, Elder Charles Dike, who bare his mind, commended the location of the project, adding that it would serve their business interests and meet the needs of the Aba community.
