Abia Lawmaker, Erondu Jnr To Constituents: Remain Steadfast

The Chairman, House Committee on Public Service, Abia State House of Assembly (ABHA), Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr has urged his constituents to remain steadfast in supporting People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The Abia lawmaker who disclosed this yesterday during the opening of PDP offices across the six wards of Obingwa-West State constituency, noted that their party remain the only party at the grassroots with the interest of the women, youths and the men as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The former Chairman, Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA) who decried the deplorable State of rural roads in Abia State, promised to flag off rural roads grading in his constituency this week.

This, he said would enhance socio-economic activities and development at the grassroots.

The lawmaker representing Obingwa-West State constituency further congratulated those who emerged in the recently held party congress, urging them to show selfless commitment towards rebuilding the party.

He also enjoined party members who are not happy with the party’s congress to sheath their swords, support the party, maintaining that PDP would cruise to victory in come 2027.

He thanked them for their support, insisting that he would continue to make use of every opportunity at his disposal to attract democracy dividends to his people.

Meanwhile, the Obingwa LGA PDP Chairman, Hon. Ahamefula Egbulefu has lauded the Abia lawmaker, Erondu Jnr for keeping to his campaign promises, describing him as a rare gem who understands the needs of his people.

Egbulefu also thanked him for the newly established party offices across the constituency, insisting that PDP remains the only party in Obingwa.

Contributing, the Director-General, IGODO IGWE campaign council, Hon. Chidiebere Ihenyeremadu, thanked Erondu Jnr for performing creditably in the past 19 months in office, stating that they did not regret voting him in 2023.

In their separate remarks, the PDP woman leader, Obingwa LGA, Mrs. Ijeoma Ngozi and Obingwa Ward Three Chairman, Barr. Henry Moses thanked the lawmaker for identifying with his constituents, especially the indigent ones in this economic hard times, praying God to continue to bless and preserve in him and his family.

Highlight of the occasion was the award of scholarship to an indigent child; Miss Light Emeka from Obingwa Ward Six by the Abia lawmaker, Erondu Jnr, from Primary School to University level.
