The Chairman, House Committee on Public Service, Abia State House of Assembly (ABHA), Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr has congratulated his constituents, Abians and Nigerians at large, urging them to use the occasion of Christmas to intensify prayers for the nation’s progress, peace and unity.
In a statement by his Spokesperson, George Egejuru and made available to newsmen today, the Abia Lawmaker, enjoined his Constituents, Abians and Nigerians not to despair amidst the heightened economic hardship, adding that things will soon get better.
The former Director, Enyimba FC, who also urged Christian faithfuls to emulate the virtues of Christ which he identified as love, joy, peace, selflessness, humility, among others, maintaining that with unity of purpose they can overcome all obstacles facing the country.
The lawmaker representing Obingwa-West State constituency, also thanked his Constituents for the confidence reposed in him, assuring them that he would continue to collaborate with relevant bodies to attract democracy dividends to the people.
In his words: “Let the joy of this season inspire us to persevere, knowing that there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
“With unity, dedication and resilience, we can overcome any challenge and create a better future for the present and upcoming generations.”
The former Chairman, Obingwa Local Government Council, further prayed that this Christmas bring blessings to every home, and usher in a new season of peace, progress and prosperity to Abia State and the entire Nigeria.
