Ikpeazu to Abia Deputy LGA Chairmen “Work Closely with Your Chairmen To Promote the Programmes and Policies Of The Administration”

WIFE OF ABIA GOVERNOR, MRS NKECHI IKPEAZU 

Abia State Governor’s Wife, Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu, has charged the 17, Deputy Chairmen of the various local government areas in Abia State to embark on activities that will entrench the policies and achievements of the Okezie Ikpeazu, lead administration in Abia to the rural areas.

Mrs. Ikpeazu, made the charge in her conference hall in the state government house when the deputy council leaders paid her a courtesy visit.

According to her, ” your work as deputies require serious political sagacity, cooperation and loyalty to your chairmen in order to achieve the goals of the administration in the rural areas, this will as well portray our party the peoples democratic party (PDP) to people.

Earlier, the leader of the Deputy Chairmen, Hon. Peace Nwaobilo, said that they have come on a familiarisation visit and as well thank her for the role she played in their electoral victories as deputy chairmen.

We are also here to pledge our unalloyed support to this administration because it has impacted positively to Abia indigence and their residents respectively.

We will also lend our support to the huge impact you are making in the state through your Vicar Hope Foundation.

In a related development, the 17, Educational Secretaries of Abia LGAS also pledge to support the efforts of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, led governance in the state describing as a success and at the same time commends the Governor’s wife for feeding Abia school children and her works with the Vicar Hope Foundation.

Leader of the team, Mr. Austin Iheanacho, said the courtesy visit is a way to be in track with the administration’s set goals in the rural areas.

However, Mr. Iheanacho, pleaded with the Governor’s wife to intervene in the proposed industrial action set to be embarked by the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT).

Iheanacho, expressed that the wife of the Governor intervention will help assuage the feelings of the teachers and would prevent the industrial action if not the gains already made by the administration would be lost.
