Ward-to-Ward Tour: ‘Stay Resolute’ – Erondu Jnr Charges Constituents

The Chairman, House Committee on Public Service, Abia State House of Assembly (ABHA), Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr., has urged his constituents to remain steadfast in their support to ensure the continued delivery of democratic dividends.

The lawmaker who stated this yesterday at Osaa-Okea Primary School Hall, Uhie autonomous Community, Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA) Abia State during his ongoing ward-to-ward humanity tour, reaffirmed his commitment towards providing quality representation and support to his people, particularly in these tough economic times.

 

 


Represented by Hon. Ukpom Prince, the former Councillor of Ward 3, Erondu Jnr highlighted that the Igodo Igwe Foundation remains deeply rooted in service to humanity; consistently working to uplift the less privileged and improve the lives of the downtrodden.

In his words: “It is worthy to note that Igodo Igwe Foundation had previously commenced its ward-to-ward general meetings in Mgboko Umuanunu (Ward 3), with a focus on interacting directly with constituents across Obingwa LGA to address their concerns and provide necessary relief”.

In his speech, the Ward 5 Coordinator, Pastor Azubuike Samuel Okechukwu, lauded the Abia lawmaker for delivering on his campaign promises.

He further acknowledged lawmaker’s exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the people, which he described as being guided by humility and genuine concern for the community’s welfare.

He, however, extended condolences to the Lawmaker on behalf of the Igodo Igwe Foundation in Ward 5, over the demise of his elder brother, Chief Azubuike Erondu, praying God to comfort the family and grant the faithful departed eternal rest.

The event drew the attendance of several key figures, including Hon. Obioma Ugoala, PDP leader in Ward 5; Lady Caroline Uzorije, former Obingwa LGA Woman Leader; Elder Chiemela Moses, PDP Leader in Ward 5; Ezinne Orgie, PDP Woman Leader in Ward 5; Chikezie Osuagwu, PDP Deputy Chairman of Ward 5; and the Traditional Prime Minister of Umunneoma Autonomous Community, Chinyere Micah, among others.
