Asa Liberation Movement Reaffirms Support For Gov Otti

The camaraderie, purposefulness, unity, equity and justice upon which Asa Liberation Movement was incubated and hatched for a month of Sundays, were rekindled once again as the noble apolitical structure held a meeting at the residence of its president Hon Emeka Adiele on the 16th of August, 2024.

The meeting which had in attendance, a coterie of tightly knit executive, founding documents of ALM and faithful members across the political zones and wards of the Ukwa West LGA, Abia State despite the short-term notice, aimed at reuniting the structure to a formidable front for future political endeavours. It objectively emphasized on supporting and queuing behind any progressive political ideas and policies irrespective of the party affiliation as long as they bring about development in the Local Government.

Speaking at the meeting, the president of the noble apolitical group Hon Emeka Adiele said that natural justice demands that ALM supports Dr Alex Otti Labour Party led government considering the numerous and unquantifiable progress his administration has made within a short period of one year and few months in office while dispelling the untrue claims constantly spread by merchants of misinformation in the guise of an opposition to discredit the wonderful works Governor Dr Alex Otti has done to rebuild Abia State.

On that note, he implored all the members of ALM to continually support the administration of Dr Alex Otti and the ruling Labour Party in the State. His pleasant plea was met with echoes of solidarity by all the members present hoisting the Labour Party flags to reaffirm their support for Governor Dr Alex Otti.

It was an eventful meeting as glowing smiles were worn by all and sundry and it was adjourned to another unscheduled date albeit to be hosted bi-monthly.
