Obewu-Onwuka hails Gov Ikpeazu on Education, SMEs, others, woos Investors to Abia

The Special Adviser to the Abia state Governor on women mobilization, Hon. Barr. Nnenna Obewu Onwuka has hailed Gov. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu for placing high premium on education, creation of good learning environment and enhanced Human Capital Development.

The former Abia state transport commissioner, who stated this during an interaction with newsmen in Umuahia recently described the Abia Governor as a visionary and fearless leader, adding that the Abia School feeding Programme of the wife of the Abia State Governor, Nkechi Ikpeazu (Ph.D) has improved nutritional security among pupils as well as school enrollment.

The former Ohafia local Government boss, pointed out that the training of some artisans in China and the uncommon promotion of Made-in-Aba Products by Gov IKpeazu have boosted the Small and Medium sized Enterprise (SMEs) in Aba making the commercial city, the SME capital of Nigeria.

In her words: “Aba has returned to its formal glory under Gov. Ikpeazu. Businesses have regained vibrancy through massive construction of assessable roads among others.”

This, the governor’s aide said was part of the governor’s commitment towards even distribution of democratic dividends to Abians.

Obewu added that massive roads construction in the state have further improve ease-of-doing business in the state, calling on investors to invest in Abia.

She maintained that Gov. Ikpeazu is proactive on security matter, hence, the peace the state is enjoying.
The former Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) state woman leader who also charged Abians to promptly pay their taxes to enable the governor deliver more dividends of democracy, further commended the proactive manner Covid-19 was managed in Abia State.

The woman leader who advocated for more political slots for women based on capacity also pleaded with men to support their wives to bring out their innate qualities.

She urged Gov. Ikpeazu to remain prayerful, focus and continue to run an all-inclusive government adding that God will help him finish well.
