Royal Father, Eze Ugwueje Salutes Community At New Year

Abia royal father, HRM Eze Amaechi Ugwueje has congratulated the people of Afaraukwu and Nigerians for making it to 2024.

In his New Year message, signed by his Media Aide, Patricia Mgborogwu and made available to newsmen, Eze Ugwueje decried the rising cases of insecurity, economic challenges among others, adding that these made them better and stronger.

In his words: “You have demonstrated indomitable spirit for survival against unabating security and the harsh economic situation compounded by uncertainties everywhere.”

He also thanked them for keeping faith with his administration and reiterated his commitments to their welfare while in the royal office.

The Afaraukwu monarch further appealed to them to pray for leaders at all levels for wisdom to lead right, urging them to be vigilant to forms of insecurity and report any security threat promptly to the relevant authorities.

“I encourage you to cooperate with the security agencies so as to join hands with our dear governor, Dr. Alex Otti to keep the state free from criminal activities.
In your dealings, you have to put the interest of the community above narrow considerations, and not allow self-seeking ambitions becloud your sense of reasoning”.

The Egwukwu III of Afaraukwu Ibeku, charged them not to despair but to keep faith alive, insisting that better days ahead.

He wished them a refreshing and fulfilling new year 2024.
