Community Devt: Ahiaba Royal Father, Eze Akataobi Inaugurates Committees

The Traditional Ruler of Ahiaba Ancient Kingdom Obingwa LGA Eze Jim Akataobi has sworn in working Arms and Committees for the administration of the community.


Performing the swearing-in ceremony in company of Elders of the community and the DPO in charge of Umuobiakwa Police Division Inyang Inyang at Umukalika Civic Hall Obingwa, Eze Akataobi charged them to use their various offices to ensure absolute peace, progress, Development and Security in Ahiaba Ancient Kingdom.

The Royal father who noted that there will be no meaningful development in an atmosphere of disunity also called on the people of Ahiaba Ancient Kingdom to always embrace peace as well as be their brother’s keeper and thanked Governor Alex Otti for his development strides in the state.

Also speaking, the Traditional Ruler of Eziama Igbengwo Obingwa Eze Tochukwu Davidson, the Traditional Ruler of Ahiaba Mbu Autonomous community Obingwa Eze Okechukwu Okwandu and the DPO in charge of Umuobiakwa Police Division Inyang Inyang urged people of Ahiaba Ancient Kingdom to continue to support Eze Akataobi to accelerate the progress, Development and Security of the community.

In their speeches on behalf of Ahiaba community, Elder Ejike Nwogu, the Community PRO Elder Stanhope Nwokike and the Youth Chairman Nnabugwu Isaac thanked the people of Ahiaba Ancient Kingdom for giving them the opportunity to serve and promised to work with Eze Akataobi to restore the glory of the community.

The swearing-in ceremony featured the presentation of security gadgets and other items for running the offices of the committees and was attended by friends and well wishers of the community.
