Abia New Modern Schools To Begin Academic Activities, January 2021

The Commissioner for Education Dr. Kanelechi Nwangwa says the new modem schools built by the state government will commence full academic activities by January next year.

Dr Nwangwa who stated this when he led a committee on opening of Abia Model schools in the state for on-the spot visit to Abayi Umuocham boys secondary school Osisioma Ngwa LGA and Osusu Amaukwu Community Secondary School Obingwa LGA noted that, they came to ascertain to the level of Infrastructure and facilities put in place for the commencement of school activities.

The Education Commissioner said that, the entrance Examinations for new intakes will kick off on 25th November this month for primary one to J S S 3 adding that forms are available at the Ministry of Education, ASUBEB office, Education Authorities where the schools are located .

Speaking the Chairman of the committee Elder Gabriel Ahuruonye and Board Secretary ASUBEB Lady Chinyere Frank Ibe while Commending the governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu and Excutive Chairman ASUBEB Elder O J Anonaba for facilitating the project enjoined parents to take advantage of the modern schools in the state and get their wards/Children registered.

Responding the Vice Principal Osusu Amaukwu Community Secondary School Obingwa LGA Mrs Roselyn Nwaobasi said that, they are poised to give the Pupils and students the best Education and appealed to the Governor to beef up security in the schools.
